Soccer School

At Albert village we run a Soccer School for children aged 3-10. The soccer school aims to teach the basics of football alongside ‘ABC’ – Agility, Balance and Coordination.

The soccer school focusses on developing the younger players through a structured programme to ensure that by the time they are eligible to join a team at U7, they understand the basics of football and match play.
The programme works though topics including:

Ball control, passing, receiving the ball, throw in’s, attack and defensive play, shooting, corners and space and awareness, amongst other things.

Each of the topics are delivered through a series of fun, safe and inclusive games.

For the older children, we adopt a similar programme, but the focus is to join them into one of our existing teams as quickly as they want to.

The soccer school programme is open to both boys and girls, and works alongside both our FA Wildcats sessions which are female only sessions for girls age 5-11 and our Squad Girls sessions for girls aged 12-14.

If you want to enquire about joining any of our sessions, please email info@albertvillagefc.com
